This was originally intended to be the key to getting accepted to perform at the third annual Flatland Music Festival.  The recording was done over a seven day period with mixing and mastering.  It was Jay's first actual recording in a real studio and Michelle didn't even realise till we were done he was a green horn.  This was also Jon's last recording with Embrace he finished his degree in Business Administration in December 1998 and we wish him well.  Mike has stepped in to some pretty big shoes and so far so good.  This EP is more guitar driven, hell it should be Brad took the most time in the studio.

Hidden Track Blood on Blood(Brotherhood)

The first compact disk pressing of an Embrace recording and first under the abbreviated name and new lineup.  Craig Lavoie came on board to replace Brian Baker and the line up expanded to achieve a more aggressive original sound.  Clayton Shearer played percussion on the recording and Jay Bundus was credited with having done so, Jay played all of the promotional appearances and concerts in support of this album but did none of the studio work. Dale Penner was given a producing credit and he asked that on the next pressing of the recording he be removed so until that pressing comes about he only mixed not produced.  Factor also gave us an independent recording loan for this album.  Tired was also made into a video by Dave Hanson and Marc Simard so if you would like to see the video please e-mail On Demand at Muchmusic.  "Blood on Blood(Brotherhood)" was recorded and produced by Kevin Churko at Touchwwod Studios and first appeared on the Good Time Charlies compilation Tight.  There is some discussion over the name of this track some call it Blood on Blood and some call it Brotherhood hence the title.  When the name issue comes up most people recognise "If We Should Fall" under its band nickname Fly.

Our first album under the long name, recorded in 1991 at Touchwood Studios here in Regina.  Shortly after Scott Huber left the band to be replaced by Jon Young.  Children Cry hilights that early sound of Embrace commonly referred to as the Glass Tiger era it must have been because of Grant's last name Frew(no relation!).
